Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is a key element in our program. We recognize parents as a child’s first and most important teachers. Research indicates that when parents are involved in early learning programs, children experience positive outcomes in terms of their verbal, motor, and adaptive skills, as well as greater academic success in later years (as cited Thornburg, 2002). Your participation helps foster a partnership that ensures your child’s safety, well-being, and ongoing development. Our goal is to maintain regular contact through daily conversations, phone calls, bulletin boards, and newsletters.

Play is Important!

Play is a central and necessary part of a child's development and a major avenue for learning, providing a natural opportunity for children to add to their knowledge, learn new skills, and to practice familiar ones. Noah's Ark Playschool endeavors to provide play experiences where children can observe, discover, reason, and problem-solve. Children will grow, mature, and develop at their natural pace, demonstrating age-appropriate concepts and an ability to apply them, equipping them with the skills and self-esteem to transition into progressive learning environments.

Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.

Children are Precious!

We believe children are gifts from God; our aim is to help them understand their worth. When children feel safe, respected, encouraged, and loved, they will thrive. We use stories, songs, crafts, and other play to meet their developmental needs.

If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn!
