Play is central to a child’s development—and at Noah’s Ark, it’s also the heart of our curriculum. We draw inspiration from Alberta’s Flight Framework and Reggio Emilia, creating a dynamic environment where children can observe, discover, reason, and problem-solve. Our teachers listen and respond to children’s interests; which drives the planning of engaging, hands-on experiences that promote unique and meaningful learning.

Each child is unique, with their own needs, perspectives, and gifts. We embrace inclusion through our partnership with RDPSD, providing adaptations and support for children with exceptional needs. Whether it’s modifying routines, materials, or expectations, we foster independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging for all.

Additional supports including Occupational, Physical, and Speech and Language Therapy, etc. are available with qualification.

Children at Noah’s Ark aren’t just students—they’re co-learners and collaborators. Their voices, questions, and ideas help shape the learning environment. With input from families and ongoing staff reflection, we create a space where children feel seen, heard, and empowered to wonder and explore.

As children grow, mature, and develop at their natural pace, we support them to demonste age-appropriate skills and apply what they’ve learned. This nurturing progression equips them with the confidence and self-esteem to transition smoothly into future learning environments—with a strong foundation in both knowledge and faith.
